Abaranam collects the minimum information needed to sell you a piece of jewellery and get it to you safely. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to anyone.
What we collect
- Order information — name, delivery address, phone number and email address.
- Communication — messages you send us by form, email or WhatsApp, and our replies.
- Site usage — pages viewed and general analytics, used to improve the site.
We do not collect or store card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs or bank credentials. Payments are handled entirely by our payment gateway, which is PCI-DSS compliant.
Why we collect it
- To process, insure, dispatch and track your order.
- To contact you about that order, a return, or a servicing appointment.
- To meet our legal obligations — GST invoicing and statutory record keeping.
- To send you occasional updates, only if you have subscribed. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
Only the parties needed to complete your order: our logistics partner (name and delivery address), our payment gateway (order amount and contact details), and our accountant for GST filing. Each is bound to use the data only for that purpose.
How long we keep it
Order records are retained for eight years as required for tax purposes. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry messages are deleted after two years.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not store anything about you in your browser beyond what the browser itself keeps. There is no cart and no order flow — the site is a showcase, and enquiries reach us only through the contact form or WhatsApp, when you choose to send them.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. Write to premamabaranam@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Order data is held in access-controlled systems. If a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you directly and promptly rather than burying it in a notice.
