These terms apply to everything bought through premamabaranam.com. Placing an order means you accept them.
Products and pricing
- All prices are in Indian Rupees and include making charges. GST is added at checkout.
- Gold prices move daily. The price shown at the moment you place your order is the price you pay.
- Gross weights are stated on every product page and are accurate to ±0.2 g.
- Because pieces are handmade, small variations in finish, stone placement and weight are normal and are not defects.
- Product images represent the design. Colour reproduction varies between screens.
Orders
An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm dispatch. We may decline an order — and refund it in full — if the piece has sold, if the price was listed in error, or if we cannot verify the delivery details.
Payment
Payment is taken in full at checkout, except where cash on delivery is offered (orders up to ₹25,000). We do not handle or store your card or UPI credentials; those go directly to the payment gateway.
Hallmarking
Every gold piece is BIS hallmarked with a six-digit HUID before dispatch, verifiable in the BIS Care app. The hallmark certifies metal purity only. Diamonds are supplied with their own certificate where stated on the product page; uncut polki stones carry a certificate of authenticity rather than a grading report.
Delivery and risk
Risk passes to you on signature at delivery. Until that point the parcel is insured by us. Delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed against courier delays, weather or public holidays.
Returns, exchanges and repairs
Arranged directly with us — write to us about the piece concerned and we will confirm what is possible in writing.
Warranty and liability
We warrant that pieces are free from manufacturing defects. This does not cover damage from normal wear, accident, misuse, or cleaning methods we advise against — notably water or ultrasonic cleaning on polki and kundan.
Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the piece concerned.
Intellectual property
The designs, photographs and text on this site belong to Abaranam. Please do not reproduce them commercially without permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here when you place your order.
